Tank Lining
Restore compromised interior corrosion barriers with compatible glass media, veil systems, and custom polymer matrixes matched to stored product, temperature, and operating conditions.
Protect critical fiberglass vessels with engineer-driven FRP lining, relining, repair, and inspection services from American Fiberglass Tank Repair. Since 2003, AFTR has helped industrial, chemical, waterworks, and wastewater teams extend tank life, restore corrosion barriers, minimize downtime, and avoid costly replacement through field-ready crews, specialized materials, and FTPI certified inspection expertise.

Comprehensive FRP lining, inspection, repair, and modification services for tanks storing water, chemicals, and process fluids.
Restore compromised interior corrosion barriers with compatible glass media, veil systems, and custom polymer matrixes matched to stored product, temperature, and operating conditions.
Repair and reline FRP tanks storing NaOCl, NaOH, FeCl3, HCl, and other aggressive chemistries using product-specific resin and veil systems.
Inspect, repair, and reline potable water, deionized water, and process water tanks with application-appropriate resin systems and detailed post-cure inspection.
Engineer-driven visual, ultrasonic, laser, Barcol hardness, and high-intensity backlight testing identifies corrosion coat failure, capillary migration, cracking, and shell distortion.
Add, relocate, resize, or block off FRP nozzles, ports, and manways while preserving tank integrity and aligning connections with updated piping layouts.
Coordinate FRP lining and repair around shutdowns, weekends, night shifts, or planned outages so maintenance happens when downtime costs least.

AFTR begins with engineer-led inspection of the tank interior, exterior, nozzles, and corrosion barrier. Visual, ultrasonic, laser, backlight, and hardness testing help identify liner failure, capillary migration, abrasion, cracking, or structural concerns.
AFTR combines composite engineering, certified inspection, and field-ready crews for dependable tank restoration.
Dedicated FRP repair experience built through decades of tank lining, inspection, and maintenance work.
FTPI certified inspectors supervise critical assessments and translate findings into practical repair plans.
Service-Pack containers carry resins, veils, mats, and tools for rapid mobilization.
Crews work around shutdowns, night shifts, weekends, and emergency operating demands.
Engineer-led experts focused on longer tank service life.

FRP lining is a fiberglass reinforced plastic corrosion barrier applied to the inside of a tank or vessel. It combines resin systems, fiberglass mat, chopped strand, veil, and other reinforcement layers to protect the tank body from chemicals, water, abrasion, and temperature exposure. For existing tanks, relining restores the internal barrier and can add years of usable service life.
